Following her move from San Francisco California, she was able to work as a waitress during her time at the American Conservatory Theatre. Later, she appeared on stage as well as in TV in Chicago. Camacho was first seen on screen in a segment of the show for children titled 'Come On Over' in the year 2007. In 2007, she made her first appearance on the big screen in the independent romantic comedy "Desertion". In subsequent years, she became an actress to watch, particularly in the television industry.
